When a remote First Nations community in Northwestern Ontario was left without safe drinking water after E. coli was found present in the distribution system, Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) chose to deploy Global Hydration and their Can Pure Water Purification System.
Global Hydration’s immediate, same-day response positioned their field technician on site at the community to operate a state-of-the-art Model #4 which produced, for residential distribution, over 10,000 liters of safe drinking water in three days.
When compared with the traditional response of flying in bottled water, the deployment of the Can Pure WPS saved over $265,000 and eliminated 66,000 plastic water bottles from entering this remote community’s fragile environment. First Nations Water Emergency.
